Assumes a linear 1:1 sensitivity with no mouse or in-game acceleration and no scoped multiplier. Yaw is the game’s degrees-per-count at sensitivity 1.0.
From a DPI value and an in-game sensitivity, the calculator derives four numbers. eDPI (effective DPI) is DPI × sensitivity — one figure for how fast your aim feels. cm/360 and in/360 are the physical distance your hand travels to spin a full 360°, the most honest way to compare setups because they are real-world measurements, not arbitrary in-game values. counts/360 is how many hardware counts the sensor reports over that turn, and unlike distance it does not depend on DPI. The sensor reports counts as you move, where counts = distance in inches × DPI. Each game turns counts into rotation with a fixed "yaw" constant — the degrees the view rotates per count at sensitivity 1.0 — so a full turn needs 360 ÷ (yaw × sensitivity) counts. Divide by DPI and convert to centimetres: cm/360 = 360 ÷ (yaw × sensitivity × DPI) × 2.54. Source-engine games like CS2 and Apex use a yaw of 0.022, Valorant 0.07 and Overwatch 2 0.0066 — which is why the same sensitivity number feels wildly different between games, and why the game picker matters.
Trust cm/360 above the other numbers. DPI alone says nothing about aim, because the in-game sensitivity cancels or amplifies it. eDPI is better but only comparable within one game — 1.0 does not mean the same thing in CS2 and Valorant. cm/360 is measured in centimetres of hand travel, so it carries across games, DPI and sensitivity scales unchanged: two players on the same cm/360 get an identical turn from an identical hand movement. That is why it is the standard for copying a feel between setups — and the number the reverse mode lets you target directly.
