Mouse Accuracy Test

Measure how precisely and quickly you can click. Targets appear one at a time in the play area — click each as fast as you can while the clock runs, and get your accuracy, average time to hit, and targets per second.

Then click each target as fast as you can for 30s. Clicking empty space counts as a miss.

Mouse accuracy is how reliably your clicks land where you aim — a blend of aim, hand–eye coordination, and cursor control a click-counter can’t see. It’s the foundation of fast-paced gaming, where hitting a small, moving target first wins the fight, and it helps everyday work too: tiny toolbar icons, selecting text, dragging nodes in design apps.

The test works like a compact aim trainer. A target appears at a random spot; click it and another appears elsewhere. Over a timed run it counts hits and misses (a click on empty space), then reports four numbers: accuracy (hits over all clicks), average time to hit, targets per second, and total hits. Shrink the target to make aiming harder, and everything runs locally — nothing is uploaded. To check the buttons fire cleanly, pair it with the Mouse Tester.

Read the numbers together. Accuracy and speed pull against each other — moving faster tends to overshoot — so a good result is high targets per second held at high accuracy (90% or better). If your score swings between runs, your effective sensitivity — DPI times your OS or in-game sensitivity — is usually why: too high makes fine corrections twitchy, too low is precise but slow. Pick one moderate value and keep it fixed so muscle memory can build.
