Right Click CPS Test
Measure your right-click speed in clicks per second. Pick a duration, right-click the pad as fast as you can, and get your live CPS, a rank, and a second-by-second breakdown of the run. It counts the right mouse button only, so you'll need a mouse.
Right-click to start
Then right-click as fast as you can for 5 second(s).
Clicks over time
5s testCPS — clicks per second — is usually measured on the left mouse button, but the right button is a skill of its own. Games bind a surprising amount to it: blocking, aiming down sights, placing blocks, using items, secondary attacks. For right-handed players it's driven by the middle finger, which gets far less daily training than the index finger, so the right button is the weaker, less consistent one — and the one with the most room to improve.
Choose how long to run — a 1- or 5-second burst, the classic 10-second test, or up to 100 seconds for stamina — then right-click the pad. The clock starts on your first right-click, so no reaction time is wasted, and right-button presses divided by elapsed time give a CPS figure that updates live. Left-clicks are ignored, the browser context menu is suppressed on the pad, and when time is up the chart breaks the run down second by second. Everything runs locally — nothing is uploaded.
Expect right-click numbers a click or two per second below your left-click scores — that gap is normal. A typical result is 4–6 CPS, and past 8 is genuinely quick for the middle finger. The ranks below use the same scale as the regular CPS test, so a "Good" here is a stronger achievement than the same rank on the left button. Because burst speed and endurance are different skills, only compare scores from the same test length. If your clicks feel like they aren't registering, a worn switch or low polling rate may be capping the score — check yours with the Mouse Polling Rate Tester.
Right-click CPS ranks on this test
| Rank | CPS | What it usually means |
|---|---|---|
| Slow | under 3 | Where an untrained middle finger often starts |
| Casual | 3–5 | Everyday right-clicking pace — a typical first attempt |
| Average | 5–7 | Deliberate, rhythmic clicking; a solid result for the right button |
| Good | 7–9 | Left-click-level speed from your weaker finger |
| Fast | 9–11 | Around the ceiling of one-finger right-clicking |
| Very fast | 11–13 | Almost always jitter or butterfly technique |
| Insane | 13–15 | Refined technique in short bursts — hard to sustain |
| Godlike | 15+ | Record-chasing pace, rarely seen on the right button |
